On August 27, at the 29th Chengdu International Auto Show, SAIC Audi announced the official launch of the Audi E7X Pioneer quattro Passion Edition. The new model is offered at a limited-time premium price of RMB 309,800, or RMB 297,800 after applying applicable purchase incentives. This variant joins the existing Audi E7X lineup, specifically tailored to meet customer demand for all-wheel drive systems and enhanced chassis configurations. With this addition, the Audi E7X now comprises six variants, with official prices ranging from RMB 269,800 to RMB 359,800. The Audi E7X is available in two drivetrain layouts: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive. The single-motor RWD version delivers a maximum output of 300 kW, while the dual-motor AWD variant produces a combined output of 500 kW and peak torque of 800 N·m, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.9 seconds. All models come standard with a bi-directional 14-degree rear-wheel steering system, offering a maximum rear-wheel steering angle of ±7 degrees and a minimum turning radius of 5.14 meters. Higher trims are equipped with Continental air suspension and ZF CDC continuously variable damping shock absorbers. The air suspension automatically adjusts ride firmness and vehicle height in real time based on road conditions. In terms of range and charging, the E7X offers two ternary lithium battery options—100 kWh and 109.3 kWh—both supplied by CATL. Depending on configuration, CLTC-rated ranges are available in five versions: 751 km, 705 km, 691 km, 660 km, and 635 km. The Pioneer Intelligent Long Range Edition, equipped with the 109.3 kWh battery, achieves the maximum CLTC range of 751 km. All E7X models feature a standard 900V high-voltage architecture. The Long Range Edition supports 4C ultra-fast charging; under compatible ultra-fast charging infrastructure, it can gain 429 km of range in just 10 minutes. Charging from 30% to 80% SOC takes approximately ten-odd minutes, with peak charging power reaching up to 456 kW.
