On August 27, the Range Rover family unveiled its latest model—the Range Rover GT—the fifth addition to the lineup and the brand's first non-SUV vehicle. Officially described as a new interpretation of a GT car, it is hailed by Land Rover as its most advanced production model to date. Built on Jaguar Land Rover’s new EMA platform, the Range Rover GT debuts as a fully electric vehicle, with a hybrid variant to follow later. Exterior-wise, the Range Rover GT features a low-slung fastback silhouette, ditches the traditional grille, and replaces it with a full-width illuminated “RANGEROVER” badge. It also sports split headlights, flush door handles, and large multi-spoke alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin centers around a large, centrally mounted touchscreen and a compact digital instrument cluster, significantly reducing physical buttons. Powering the vehicle is a 100 kWh battery pack, offering an estimated all-electric range approaching 800 kilometers.
