On August 28, the GWM Ora 5 gasoline and hybrid models launched the Coffee Pilot 3 advanced driver-assistance technology package, available as an optional upgrade for RMB 14,000. This package includes LiDAR and other ADAS hardware, enabling features such as automated parking, urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot), highway NOA, end-to-end smart navigation from parking space to parking space, and multiple active safety functions. Customers can order the package via the GWM app. GWM also announced that users involved in accidents while using the ADAS features will receive comprehensive coverage benefits valid for 365 days. According to previous reports, the Ora 5 gasoline and hybrid variants debuted at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, with a starting price of RMB 79,800 and a limited-time renewal offer starting at RMB 69,800. The hybrid version is equipped with GWM’s new-generation Hi4 intelligent hybrid technology, delivering a system output of 166 kW and peak torque of 476 N·m. The gasoline variant features GWM’s sixth-generation 1.5T high-efficiency engine paired with a third-generation dual-clutch transmission, producing a peak torque of 275 N·m at just 1,500 rpm, sustained up to 4,000 rpm.
