On August 28, Lingchu Intelligence and Orbbec announced a strategic partnership focused on real-world data collection for embodied intelligence. The collaboration will deeply integrate Lingchu’s intelligent data collection platform with Orbbec’s body-free data capture hardware platform, creating an end-to-end link spanning front-end data acquisition, back-end management, and application deployment. Previously, the two companies had already collaborated in areas such as camera modules and manufacturing services. This new partnership further extends their cooperation into software-hardware co-optimization, global market expansion, joint development of data collection devices, and contract manufacturing (CM), with plans to coordinate efforts in establishing data collection standards. Lingchu Intelligence’s self-developed Psi-SynEngine—a data collection engine for embodied intelligence—has already undergone small-scale validation in real-world logistics warehouses. In recent years, Orbbec has launched products including EGO, UMI, and WristCam, positioning itself in the fields of robotic vision and body-free data capture hardware.
