Changan Automobile announced it will unveil its self-developed advanced intelligent driving system, "Tianshu Navigation Ultra," at the Changan Tech Ecosystem Conference on September 4, and simultaneously launch the global pre-sale of its first strategic model equipped with this system—the Qiyuan Q06. Built upon the SDA Tianshu Central Ring Network architecture, Tianshu Navigation Ultra supports highway navigation assistance, urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) functionality, and full-scenario intelligent parking. It also integrates a VLM (Vision-Language Model) large AI model. Under Changan’s broader “Beidou Tianshu” intelligent mobility initiative, the company’s L3 autonomous driving system has already accumulated over 5 million kilometers of real-road testing in Chongqing, maintaining a flawless record of zero accidents and zero violations. The Qiyuan Q06 is positioned as a midsize SUV, measuring 4,837 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,940 mm. It features a coupe-style SUV design, a closed front fascia, and a full-width light bar. Inside, the cabin offers 28-point electric massage seats and second-row zero-gravity seats reclining up to 145°, paired with the next-generation Tianshu Cockpit 2.0 that supports multi-command voice control, memory functions, and emotion-aware capabilities. The vehicle rides on the Tianshu chassis, featuring a dual-motor rear-wheel-drive layout, an all-aluminum front double-wishbone suspension, and a rear five-link setup. Powertrain options include both pure electric and range-extended variants: the BEV version is based on an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform supporting 6C ultra-fast charging, while the range-extended version combines a 1.5L range extender with a 28.39 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. Full specifications, powertrain details, and pre-sale pricing will be revealed on September 4.
