Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Pop-Top Version Spotted, Registration Completed

Recently, official images of the Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Pop-Top Edition have been revealed. The model has completed its official registration and is classified as a "plug-in extended-range hybrid cultural lifestyle service vehicle." The new model features an opening roof structure that, when raised, can support an outdoor camping tent and offers an optional in-cabin projection kit. Meanwhile, the sibling model, the Pengcheng N90 Max, has already begun pre-sales at a price of RMB 299,900. Positioned as a full-size family SUV, it measures 5,285 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,925 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,080 mm and a seven-seat layout. The interior floor is completely flat, offering a front-to-rear usable length of 2,900 mm and a gentle floor incline of just 2.95°. It is equipped with an integrated H-arm suspension and rear air-conditioning ducts. The chassis features a double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link independent rear suspension, complemented by air springs and four hydraulic bushings across the vehicle, enabling a wading depth of up to 750 mm. In terms of powertrain, the vehicle is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system paired with a customized Dongan 1.5T range extender. The combined system output reaches 310 kW, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 190 km/h. Under WLTC conditions, its fuel consumption in low-battery mode is rated at 6.26 L/100 km. Two battery options are available—52 kWh and 76 kWh—delivering a CLTC pure-electric range of 464 km and a total combined range of up to 1,705 km. The vehicle supports ultra-fast charging, capable of adding up to 285 km of range in just 15 minutes, and can charge from 20% to 80% state of charge in as little as 18 minutes.
