On August 29, Denza announced that due to supply constraints from the manufacturer, it will offer customers whose orders for certain models remain undelivered for 90 days or more (from the date of order confirmation) a compensation package consisting of 100,000 loyalty points and a premium gift bundle valued at up to RMB 2,000. This policy applies to the second-generation Denza D9 and the Denza N9 Flash Charge Edition. The second-generation Denza D9 was officially launched on April 27, with six variants priced between RMB 359,800 and RMB 459,800. Deliveries began in April. The vehicle measures 5,250 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,900 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. It is available in both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and all-electric (BEV) versions. The PHEV variant features a hybrid powertrain combining a 1.5T engine and dual motors: the engine delivers a maximum output of 115 kW, the front motor produces up to 200 kW, and the rear motor delivers 45 kW. Equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, the PHEV achieves a CLTC-rated all-electric range exceeding 400 km and a fuel consumption of 6.35 L/100 km under low-battery conditions. It also supports flash charging technology. The Denza N9 Flash Charge Edition debuted in May, offering three trims starting at RMB 409,800. It is powered by the second-generation Blade Battery, delivering a CLTC all-electric range of 420 km and a combined range of 1,520 km. The model features BYD’s proprietary "Yi San Fang" triple-motor independent drive system and VMC (Vehicle Motion Control) technology, enabling advanced capabilities such as extreme steering, compass turn (tank turn), and intelligent crab-walk functionality.
