Transaction prices in the retail market have declined further, with the BMW 5 Series now available for just over RMB 260,000 before options and fees. A customer in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province purchased a 530Li M Sport Package for significantly less than the typical all-inclusive price of RMB 470,000 seen in previous years. Meanwhile, during an auto show in Chengdu, another buyer acquired a 530Li M Sport Edition for a base price of RMB 290,000; after applying regional incentives and trade-in subsidies, the total on-the-road price came to under RMB 340,000. Dealerships across multiple regions reported that the base price of the 525Li has generally dropped into the RMB 260,000 range: a dealership in Hangzhou quoted RMB 263,000, while a customer in Xiaogan, Hubei Province bought the 2026 525Li Luxury Package for RMB 265,000, resulting in an all-inclusive price of RMB 297,700. Some dealerships in Suzhou even offered the 525Li at a base price as low as RMB 253,800 for customers opting for financing, keeping the total on-the-road cost under RMB 300,000.
