AITO Motors today released a Q&A session addressing user inquiries about the AITO M6, detailing the technical differences between its co-path in-cabin LiDAR and dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR, as well as the vehicle’s assisted driving performance in adverse weather conditions. The co-path in-cabin LiDAR equipped on the AITO M6 features a “single-mirror dual-mode” architecture, integrating the LiDAR and camera modules tightly behind the windshield. This design reduces data processing latency and enhances real-time perception accuracy and precision. The technology demonstrates stable performance in urban environments and heavy rain, offering strong capabilities in detecting small objects and reliable recognition in complex scenarios. Paired with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS Enhanced Edition, the co-path in-cabin LiDAR is optimized for everyday urban commuting. In contrast, the dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR employs Huawei’s dual-path technology with dual laser reception units and works alongside Huawei’s Qiankun ADS Advanced Edition to support more demanding and complex driving conditions.
