The Lotus Emira 420 Sport is now on sale, offered in two trim levels with an official manufacturer's suggested retail price ranging from RMB 988,000 to RMB 1,188,000. Initial deliveries are scheduled to commence in October 2023. The model is powered by AMG’s M139 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, producing a maximum output of 420 horsepower and peak torque of 500 N·m, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.9 seconds. The vehicle has a curb weight of 1,430 kg—5 mm lower in ride height compared to the Emira Turbo SE—and generates 25 kg more downforce. It comes standard with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 semi-slick tires. Thanks to aerodynamic enhancements, the external radiator intake efficiency improves by 15%, airflow through the central radiator increases by 14%, brake cooling performance rises by 10%, and exhaust valve airflow capacity grows by 30%. Exterior updates include a larger front lip spoiler, enlarged air intakes, extended side skirts, and a carbon-fiber louvred tailgate. Seven exterior color options are available, with three new exclusive hues: Avalon Orange, Sherwood Green, and Howling Purple. A removable dark-tinted glass roof is offered as an option, stowing neatly behind the seats. Inside, the cabin features a fully digital instrument cluster and a floating 10.25-inch center touchscreen. The infotainment system includes a dedicated track app that supports lap timing and corner speed display. The optional Hand Painted Pack adds Tangelo Orange accents—matching the body color—to components such as seatbelts, air vent surrounds, steering wheel trim, gear selector, and center console trim. The chassis employs double-wishbone independent suspension front and rear, equipped with Multimatic two-way adjustable dampers, while the exhaust system utilizes titanium alloy construction.
