Honda Demands Sharp Price Cuts from Suppliers to Slash Costs

Documents show that Honda has instructed its suppliers to significantly reduce prices, aiming to cut costs of certain key components—including those related to software-defined vehicles—by 30%. The automaker targets reducing costs by 1.5 trillion yen (approximately $9.4 billion) by 2030.
