All-New Genesis G80 Launches: 2.5T AWD Option, 27-Inch Integrated Screen, Starting at ¥289,860

The all-new Genesis G80 officially launched on September 3, with the Luxury trim starting at RMB 289,860 and the Flagship trim starting at RMB 399,240 under exclusive launch offers. Purchases made before September 2026 qualify for attractive financing terms, including a down payment as low as 10% and an annual interest rate as low as 0.88% over 36 months. Measuring 5,005 mm long, 1,925 mm wide, and 1,465 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,010 mm, the new G80 features Winged LED headlights inspired by Genesis design language, Genesis welcome lights, and a panoramic sunroof. It can be optionally equipped with up to 20-inch Titanium Gray alloy wheels and four-piston front brake calipers. Under the hood, the G80 is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, available in either rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations. The engine delivers a maximum output of 304 horsepower and 422 N·m of torque. The optional AWD system actively distributes torque between the front and rear axles based on selected driving modes. Inside, the cabin features a seamless 27-inch OLED display integrating the instrument cluster, navigation, and infotainment functions. Additional interior highlights include an electronic rotary gear selector, Nappa leather seats, and a 64-color ambient lighting system. An optional Sport Package adds a black D-shaped steering wheel, diamond-quilted seat patterns, and carbon fiber trim accents. Rear passengers can opt for dual 14.6-inch independent touchscreen infotainment displays, complemented by a B&O premium audio system with 18 speakers and surround sound settings adjustable via the central display. The vehicle supports fingerprint recognition to automatically adjust mirrors, steering wheel, and seat positions according to driver identity. Utilizing UWB and other communication protocols, the Genesis Digital Key enables keyless approach detection and unlocking. The front center console armrest features both heating and UV sterilization functions, which operate in sync with heated seats and steering wheel. Rear seats offer ventilation, heating, and reclining angle adjustment. Noise reduction is enhanced by an Active Road Noise Control system that emits anti-phase sound waves combined with acoustic laminated glass to minimize cabin noise. Standard equipment also includes a Preview Electronic Controlled Suspension that uses a forward-facing camera to scan road conditions up to 7 meters ahead and adjusts damping accordingly.
