On September 3, 2024, the BYD Denza N9 Flash Charge Edition received an OTA update to version V1.1.0. This update introduces new smart home integration partners Hisense and TCL, enabling remote control of home air conditioners via the vehicle’s infotainment system. Sentry Mode now includes a scheduling feature and alerts for high-risk events. Additional new features include Super Child Lock, customizable HUD navigation arrows, cross-screen video-on-demand from iQiyi, proactive parking assistant order notifications, an option to toggle navigation voice prompts during phone calls, dynamic music-themed wallpapers, quick-access controls for expanding and folding the rearview mirror in panoramic view, and a new “Grand Presence” driving mode. The Denza N9 Flash Charge Edition launched in May 2024, offering three variants with a starting price of RMB 409,800. It is equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, delivering a CLTC all-electric range of 420 km and a combined range of up to 1,520 km. The vehicle also features the YeeTron Three-Motor Independent Drive technology and YeeTron VMC Vehicle Motion Control system, supporting advanced functions such as extreme steering, compass U-turn, and intelligent crab-walk mode.
