On September 3, BMW Brilliance Automotive announced that the all-new BMW iX3 will arrive at dealerships nationwide starting in November and will be available for test drives. All variants of the new iX3 come standard with BMW’s Intelligent Driving Assistant system. Key features—including the Professional Driving Assistant, Professional Parking Assistant, basic driving assistance functions, and all active safety-related features—will be available free of charge for the lifetime of the vehicle. Purchasers will also receive complimentary access to both Highway and Urban Navigation Pilot Professional packages, valued at over RMB 20,000: Urban Navigation Pilot Professional is free for three years, and Highway Navigation Pilot Professional is free for eight years. After these periods expire, customers may choose whether to renew the subscription. Even without renewal, core features—including the Professional Driving Assistant (with traffic light stop-and-go, roaming-scenario assisted driving, and active cruise control), Professional Parking Assistant, and active safety functions—will remain available at no cost. From September 5 to 27, BMW will host a limited-time urban premiere of its “New Class” vehicles in Hangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Wuhan, showcasing three units of the new BMW iX3 and one unit of the new BMW i3 at each location. From September 15 through December, the BMW Brand Experience Center in Shanghai (No. 35 Xueye Road, Pudong New Area) will display one new BMW iX3 and one new BMW i3. Starting in October, authorized BMW dealers across more cities will progressively launch in-person vehicle preview events.
