On September 1, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly issued the "Guidelines on Overseas Competitive Practices and Compliance Management for the Automotive Industry," offering general guidance to Chinese automotive enterprises engaged in international operations regarding compliance in areas such as overseas market competition, workplace safety, quality management, labor protection, and data security. GAC Group publicly stated before September 3 that it firmly supports the requirements of these Guidelines and has already translated them into concrete action plans. The company emphasized that it integrates compliance principles throughout its entire value chain—including R&D, production, supply, sales, and after-sales services—to ensure full adherence to the laws, regulations, and industry standards of host countries or regions. Regarding market competition, GAC Group commits to fair and orderly pricing strategies and truthful brand promotion. In terms of localized operations, the company is advancing full-lifecycle quality control, localized services, green and high-quality development, and the fulfillment of corporate social responsibility. As of September 3, automakers including BYD, Chery, Seres, Geely Holding, Great Wall Motor, and GAC Group have all responded to the issuance of these Guidelines.
