Tesla plans to unveil its all-electric, two-seater Cybercab in Austin, Texas, at 05:45 Beijing time on September 4, with autonomous driving as the centerpiece of the launch event. Ahead of the announcement, fleets of Cybercabs have already been spotted across multiple locations in the United States. At least 20 Cybercabs were seen parked at Miami International Airport in Florida, photographed on the evening of September 2 local time. Tesla’s Robotaxi platform has been operating in Miami for several months, and these vehicles are expected to join the platform once they receive regulatory approval. Additionally, Cybercabs have appeared at a Tesla showroom in Devon, a suburb near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Multiple Cybercabs have previously been observed conducting road tests throughout the Philadelphia metropolitan area. However, Tesla has not yet activated any geofenced Robotaxi operational zones in Pennsylvania. Tesla stated that the Cybercab will move rapidly toward deployment, but testing will continue, and the vehicle will not be immediately available to the general public as a personal transportation option.
