Tesla Brings Cybertruck’s Super Manifold V2 Thermal Tech to Model Y

Tesla has introduced the same Super Manifold V2 thermal management technology used in the Cybertruck to the Model Y. This technology features a highly integrated design that consolidates 15 to 20 refrigerant- and coolant-related mechanical components around a double-layer PCB, aiming to enhance thermal management efficiency and improve cabin cooling performance in high-temperature environments. Owners can verify whether their vehicle is equipped with this component in two ways: first, by inserting a smartphone into the lower-left area of the front trunk to photograph the heat pump assembly—new versions are labeled “SUPER MANIFOLD V2”; second, by checking the vehicle’s parts catalog via VIN—the old part number is 1547595-00-H, while the new one is 1735000-00-A. The component’s modular design helps Tesla reduce the number of parts, simplify assembly processes, and lower manufacturing costs.
