This product features a modular sealing solution positioned between labyrinth sealing and robust contact sealing. It incorporates a 360° injection-molded reinforced labyrinth inside the housing, a sidewall water-deflecting structure at the bearing inlet, and a downward drainage channel to expel accumulated water. Additionally, a grease barrier is added between the labyrinth lip and the lower washer to prevent contaminants from entering the rolling-element raceway area. The design maintains compatibility with existing MacPherson strut bearing mounting specifications, eliminating the need for re-engineering of the chassis structure. It offers controllable friction torque without increasing steering resistance.
