AITO Reports to Police Over False Claims of "Pre-built" M6 Vehicles

On September 4, the official WeChat account "AITO Truth Seekers," certified by Chongqing AITO Automotive Sales Co., Ltd., issued a statement saying that in recent days, multiple self-media accounts on various internet platforms have posted and shared images and videos of a vehicle identification plate from an AITO M6 model, showing the manufacturing date as "October 2026." After verifying the vehicle identification number (VIN), the company confirmed that the actual manufacturing date is "July 2026," and the displayed plate information was falsified using photo editing or AI-generated alterations. The company stated it has preserved evidence and filed a report with the public security authorities, vowing to hold the rumor-mongers legally accountable. It also urged the public not to believe, spread, or create rumors.
