NIO Achieves County-to-County Battery Swap Coverage in Yangtze River Delta with 1,412 Stations Built

On September 5, NIO officially announced that with the launch of the NIO Battery Swap Station at the Huangshan Qimen Low-Carbon Sci-Tech Park, NIO Energy has achieved "county-level battery swap coverage" across all 104 districts and counties in Anhui Province, having built a total of 216 battery swap stations in the province. This milestone marks the full realization of county-level battery swap coverage throughout the Yangtze River Delta region. In this region, NIO Energy has cumulatively deployed 1,412 battery swap stations across 303 districts and counties, including 289 stations along expressways—ensuring an average distance of less than 100 kilometers between stations. Nationwide, NIO has built 1,052 expressway battery swap stations, establishing a high-speed battery swap network comprising nine north-south corridors, eleven east-west corridors, and 16 major metropolitan clusters, connecting over 550 cities across China. To date, NIO has cumulatively deployed 9,317 charging and battery swap stations nationwide, including 4,067 battery swap stations, 5,250 charging stations, and 30,272 charging piles.
