Multiple Automakers Wish Xiaomi's Pengcheng Debut Success

On September 6, automakers including BYD, Li Auto, Deepal, Changan Automobile, Cadillac, and BAIC Group posted messages on Weibo congratulating Xiaomi on the successful launch of its Peng Cheng vehicles. Xiaomi’s autumn flagship product launch event is scheduled for 7 p.m. on September 7, where it will unveil three new Peng Cheng models—the N70 Pro, N70 Max, and N90 Max—as well as the Xiaomi 18 Fold foldable smartphone and the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max. According to Xiaomi’s official teasers, the new Peng Cheng models will be offered in both spacious five-seat and seven-seat configurations. All variants will come standard with a front double-wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension, a high-speed blowout stability control system, Xiaomi’s Kunlun 1.5T range extender, LiDAR sensors, and NVIDIA’s Thor chip for advanced driver assistance. The vehicles also feature Xiaomi’s ultra-high-strength steel rated at 2,200 MPa, an integrated roll cage structure, and one-piece hot-formed door rings, with comprehensive safety protection provided for every seating position.
