On September 6, Jiangling Group New Energy issued a statement announcing its commitment to actively respond to the "Guidelines on Overseas Competitive Practices and Compliance Management for the Automotive Industry," jointly released on September 1 by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the State Administration for Market Regulation. The Guidelines, comprising four chapters and twenty articles, require enterprises to adhere to the principles of legal compliance, fair competition, and mutual benefit. They call for standardized overseas market practices in areas such as pricing and dealer management, and urge companies to enhance localized compliance capabilities in overseas operations—particularly in market entry assessments, risk analysis, quality management, and labor employment. Jiangling Group New Energy stated that it will align its overseas competitive practices with the Guidelines, strengthen its localized compliance capabilities abroad, reinforce its internal compliance management system, and embed compliance requirements throughout all stages of its overseas business operations. Additionally, the Guidelines specify that when setting recommended retail prices for vehicles in overseas markets, companies must base their pricing on the host country’s (or region’s) laws and regulations, market principles, and commercial practices. They should establish clear price tiers according to different vehicle configurations and avoid frequent or significant price fluctuations that could harm overseas consumers’ interests or damage brand reputation.
