8 Weymar Inventory Vehicles Sold for ¥200,000—Average Price Just ¥25,000 Each

According to Alibaba's judicial auction platform, eight inventory WM Motor E.5 vehicles owned by a subsidiary of WM Motor were recently sold at auction for a total price of RMB 200,000, averaging RMB 25,000 per vehicle. All these vehicles were manufactured in August 2022 and originally had a manufacturer's suggested retail price ranging from RMB 150,000 to RMB 210,000. The auction notice disclosed that the vehicles had been parked outdoors for over four years and lacked certificates of conformity and purchase invoices. They might also have outstanding traffic violations or legal liens, and the asset manager would not assist with transfer-of-ownership procedures, rendering them ineligible for license plates or road use. This marked the third time these vehicles were listed for auction. The first two attempts, with starting bids of RMB 400,000 and RMB 320,000 respectively, both ended in no bids. In the third attempt, the starting price was lowered to RMB 200,000, attracting only one bidder who ultimately won the lot at the reserve price. WM Motor has faced severe operational difficulties since the second half of 2022, including production halts and unpaid supplier debts, and entered bankruptcy reorganization proceedings in 2023. In September 2025, Shenzhen Xiangfei took over as the restructuring investor for the company, but the reorganization progress fell short of expectations. Starting in 2026, WM Motor began large-scale asset disposals, including vehicles and substantial accounts receivable.
