On September 8, 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the new product disclosure for the 411th batch of the "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products," confirming that the 2026 Li Auto i6 has completed its filing. Li Auto previously announced that reservations for the 2026 Li Auto i6 will open at the end of September, with deliveries commencing in early November. The 2026 Li Auto i6 is positioned as a battery electric multi-purpose passenger vehicle, equipped with Li Auto’s self-developed 5C battery and self-developed Mach chip. Its dimensions are 4,950 mm in length, 1,935 mm in width, and 1,655 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. It has a rated seating capacity of five passengers and a maximum speed of 200 km/h. The curb weight is offered in two variants: 2,395 kg and 2,460 kg, with a gross vehicle weight rating of 2,935 kg. The permitted trailer weight is either 1,500 kg or 0 kg. An optional electric telescopic towing device is available, which does not affect the overall vehicle length when installed. Tire options include 255/50R20 and 265/45R21, with various rim designs available. In terms of powertrain, both single-motor and dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions have been filed. The single-motor variant delivers a maximum output of 250 kW, while the dual-motor version features front and rear motors rated at 150 kW and 250 kW, respectively. The vehicle is equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries; the battery cells are produced by CALB Group Co., Ltd., and the battery packs are assembled by Shandong Li Auto Battery Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Li Auto Battery Co., Ltd. For safety features, the vehicle uses Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.’s ESP10 anti-lock braking system and includes an Event Data Recorder (EDR). An ETC onboard unit is available as an option. Additionally, the vehicle adopts semi-recessed door handles and offers optional side or rear LiDAR units.
