Harman Appoints Thomas Irawan as Chief Operating Officer of Automotive Division

Recently, Harman International announced the appointment of Dr. Thomas Irawan as Chief Operating Officer of Harman’s Automotive Division, effective immediately. Based in Germany, Irawan will report to Christian Sobottka, President and CEO of Harman’s Automotive Division, and will oversee the division’s global operations, including R&D, project management, supply chain, and manufacturing functions. Prior to joining Harman, Irawan held senior management roles at Bosch and Continental Group. Harman did not disclose whether this appointment is accompanied by other management changes.
