GAC Aion Launches RT 605 Smart Enjoyment Edition at RMB 101,800

On September 10, 2026, GAC Aion officially announced the launch of an additional variant—the AION RT 605 Smart Enjoyment Edition—with an official guide price of RMB 101,800. The 2027 model-year AION RT was launched on August 5, 2026, initially offered in four versions: the 550 Smart Enjoyment Edition at RMB 99,800, the 605 Smart Luxury Edition at RMB 109,800, the 710 Smart Luxury Edition at RMB 119,800, and the 710 Smart Prestige Edition at RMB 123,800. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,865 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, and 1,520 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm and rear legroom of 943 mm. The interior features an 8.88-inch floating instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, running the ADiGO 6.0 system and supporting Apple CarPlay and Huawei HiCar 4.0 connectivity. Additional features include a panoramic sunroof with dual electric sunshades, 50W wireless charging, 6kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) external power supply, and a power tailgate. For intelligent driving, the vehicle is equipped with Horizon Robotics’ J6E chip and 22 automotive-grade sensors, adopting a pure vision-based solution. It offers L2-level advanced driver assistance (including adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist), 540-degree surround-view monitoring, and Sentry Mode. Powertrain-wise, the 2027 AION RT is powered by a single motor delivering 165 kW of peak power and 205 N·m of peak torque. It is equipped with a 70.1 kWh CATL LFP 2.0 Cell-to-Pack battery, offering a CLTC-rated range of 605 km. The entire lineup adopts amorphous alloy electric drive units and silicon carbide-based motor controllers, reducing motor control losses by 71.6% and achieving an energy consumption of approximately 9.9 kWh per 100 km. The vehicle supports 400V-platform 3C fast charging, enabling a charge from 30% to 80% in about 18 minutes, and adding approximately 200 km of range with just 10 minutes of charging.
