Flexiv Nominates Its EV Automated Charging Station for the 2026 Golden Editorial Award – Best Technology Practice Application

Flexiv has submitted its "New Energy Vehicle Automatic Charging Station" technology for the Best Technology Practice Application Award at the 8th Golden Editorial Awards 2026, under the category of Embodied Intelligence and Cross-disciplinary Technologies. This automatic charging station integrates the Rizon 10 adaptive robot, a Pan-Tilt dual-axis gimbal, and an optional AGV/AMR mobile robotic base to enable automatic identification of vehicle charging ports, precise alignment, and plug-in/plug-out operations. The Rizon 10 offers a 10 kg payload and a 941 mm reach, complying with international standards including ISO 13849 PL=d, ISO 10218, ISO/TS 15066, and UL 1740, and holds both CE and ETL safety certifications. System components include the Hesper robot controller, Pan-Tilt dual-axis gimbal, control handle, and teach pendant; the AGV/AMR mobile base is optional. Leveraging force-controlled hole searching and compliant assembly, this technology compensates for errors introduced by mobile platforms, vehicle parking inaccuracies, and environmental variations, ensuring compatibility with mainstream new energy vehicle models. Target applications include automatic charging in mixed-traffic parking lots at large shopping malls and residential communities, as well as end-of-line charging functionality testing during new energy vehicle production.
