Xiaomi Pengcheng Welcomes First Shanghai Owners as Lei Jun Delivers Vehicles to 30 Customers

On September 13, Xiaomi Auto announced that the Xiaomi Pengcheng welcomed its first batch of owners in Shanghai, with Lei Jun, founder, chairman, and CEO of Xiaomi, personally delivering new vehicles to the first 30 owners and their families. On September 12, deliveries of the Xiaomi Pengcheng officially commenced across 75 cities nationwide. At the first-owner delivery event in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, Lei Jun opened car doors and handed over keys to customers. Xuzhou, Jiangsu, historically known as Pengcheng Yi and Pengcheng County, shares a homophonic name with “Xiaomi Pengcheng.” The Xiaomi Pengcheng series was unveiled on the evening of September 7, achieving over 10,000 paid reservations within four minutes. The lineup includes four models: the Xiaomi Pengcheng N70 Pro priced at RMB 209,900; the Xiaomi Pengcheng N70 Max at RMB 239,900; the Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Max at RMB 269,900; and the Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Max Explorer Edition at RMB 299,900. The Pengcheng N70 Pro measures 4,960 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and has a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. It features standard massage seats in the first row and power-adjustable second-row seats offering up to a 135-degree recline angle. The Pengcheng N70 Max adopts a dual-motor all-wheel-drive layout, delivering a maximum output of 310 kW, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, and reaching a top speed of 190 km/h. It comes standard with a front double-wishbone and rear H-arm multi-link suspension setup. The Pengcheng N90 Max measures 5,285 mm long, 1,998 mm wide, and 1,825 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,080 mm. It features a 2+2+3 seating configuration, with both first and second rows equipped with standard 16-point massage seats that support electric rotation. The rear cabin is fitted with a 21.4-inch entertainment screen with 3K resolution. The center console island integrates two smartphone slots, four cup holders, a 6.6-liter storage compartment, and a 9-liter refrigerator with an independent compressor. It offers a CLTC pure-electric range of 464 km, a CLTC combined range of 1,705 km, and a WLTC fuel consumption of 6.26 L/100 km under low-battery conditions. The Pengcheng N90 Max Explorer Edition is equipped with a native electric pop-up roof system. When raised, the upper deck provides a usable area of 2,110 mm × 985 mm, supports a maximum load of 200 kg, and elevates the vehicle’s total height to 2,294 mm.
