Harmony Intelligent Mobility's Shunjie V8 prototype spotted; roof structure shows differences

On September 14, spy photos of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Enjoy V8 test vehicle were exposed across multiple platforms. The test vehicle in the photos closely resembles the previously unveiled Enjoy V8 in overall appearance, with a thicker roof section; however, the specific deployment configuration remains undisclosed. In April 2026, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. filed an invention patent titled "Roof Control Method and Related Apparatus," which illustrates a deployable roof tent for vehicles. The thumbnail image in the patent depicts a vehicle silhouette resembling an MPV. On September 4, Harmony Intelligent Mobility Enjoy Auto released a wind tunnel testing video of the Enjoy V8 MPV, revealing a drag coefficient of 0.226. Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei, Chairman of the Product Investment Review Committee, and Chairman of the Terminal BG, revealed that the Enjoy V8 will be unveiled this month.
