Dongfeng Fengxing V6 Star Ocean Set for Launch on September 19

On September 14, Dongfeng Fengxing announced that the Star Sea V6 will officially launch at the Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor 2026 Autumn New Product Launch Event on September 19. Developed in collaboration with Huawei, the vehicle starts at a pre-sale price of RMB 104,900. The Star Sea V6 is equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 SE, featuring a perception system comprising 10 cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and 3 millimeter-wave radars. It supports Highway Navigation Cruise Assist (NCA), Urban Lane Centering Cruise Assist Plus (LCC+), parking assistance covering over 160 scenarios, and the CAS 5.0 active safety system. Pre-sales for the Star Sea V6 Qiankun Edition began on August 8, offering two configurations: the 400km Qiankun Deluxe model at a pre-sale price of RMB 104,900 and the 510km Qiankun Flagship model at RMB 124,900. The Qiankun Edition features Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5.0 driver-assistance system with 25 sensors, supporting Highway NCA, Urban LCC, intelligent parking, and the CAS 5.0 active safety system. The vehicle measures 4,835 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,755 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. It is powered by an electric motor delivering a maximum output of 135 kW and peak torque of 260 N·m. It comes with either a 45.5 kWh or 60.5 kWh battery pack, offering CLTC-rated ranges of 400 km and 510 km, respectively. Inside, the cabin features an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, with the infotainment system supporting Baidu’s ERNIE Bot large language model. The seating layout is configured as 2+2+2, with flat-floor design for the second and third rows and a trunk capacity of up to 1,630 liters.
