NIO Announces 150,000th All-New ES8 to Be Delivered This Week

On September 14, Yang Bo, Assistant Vice President of User Operations at NIO Shanghai Co., Ltd., announced that the 150,000th delivery of the all-new ES8 would take place this week, though the exact date was not disclosed. On August 21, 2026—the opening day of the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show—NIO completed the delivery of its 140,000th ES8. The model had commenced pre-sales on August 21, 2025, and reached the milestone of 140,000 cumulative deliveries in 335 days since the start of deliveries. The all-new NIO ES8 all-electric SUV officially launched on the evening of September 20, 2025, with a full-vehicle purchase price ranging from RMB 406,800 to RMB 446,800, and a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) purchase option priced from RMB 298,800 to RMB 338,800. At launch, it was offered in six exterior colors: Deep Night Black, Cloud White, Polaris Blue, Dawn Gold, Starlight Green, and Stellar Gray. On July 10, 2026, nationwide deliveries of the NIO ES8 Large Five-Seater version began. Featuring dual zero-gravity aviation seats for driver and front passenger, each equipped with 20-way adjustability and a 400mm-wide leg rest extendable to a maximum support length of 370mm, the vehicle is priced from RMB 382,800 to RMB 422,800 for full-vehicle purchase, or from RMB 274,800 to RMB 314,800 with the BaaS option.
