Xiaomi Pengcheng SUV Owner Profile Released: Ages 30–45 Dominant, 80% Male

On the evening of September 7, Xiaomi launched its Pengcheng series SUVs, securing over 10,000 orders within four minutes. On September 12, Xiaomi began initial deliveries of the Pengcheng SUVs. On September 15, blogger @SunShaojun09 published data on the owner profile of Xiaomi Pengcheng vehicles: buyers are aged 30 to 45, 80% male, and 80% are purchasing as an addition or replacement vehicle. According to the blogger, Pengcheng owners are primarily family-oriented customers, with a high proportion considering it as an additional purchase alongside their existing fuel-powered cars; there is minimal overlap with SU7 and YU7 customers. Orders from northern China account for a relatively high share, with Zhejiang ranking first nationwide in sales volume, Shandong leading in per-store order volume, and Sichuan topping weekly per-store orders. Post-launch test-drive vehicles have driven weekend showroom visits to exceed YU7’s historical record. In terms of configuration choices, the N70 accounts for 25%, the N90 for 60%, and the N90 Explorer Edition for 15%. The most popular exterior colors are Volcanic Grey and Obsidian Black, while the top-selling interior color is Sand Beige. The Xiaomi Pengcheng series comprises four models: the N70 Pro priced at RMB 209,900, the N70 Max at RMB 239,900, the N90 Max at RMB 269,900, and the N90 Max Explorer Edition at RMB 299,900. The N70 Pro is positioned as a mid-to-large five-seat extended-range SUV, measuring 4,960 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and featuring a 2,950 mm wheelbase. It comes standard with massage seats in the first row and power-adjustable second-row seats offering up to 135 degrees of recline. The N70 Max features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering a maximum output of 310 kW, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, with a top speed of 190 km/h. It is equipped standard with front double-wishbone and rear H-arm multi-link suspension. The N90 Max is positioned as a flagship large seven-seat extended-range SUV, measuring 5,285 mm long, 1,998 mm wide, and 1,825 mm tall, with a 3,080 mm wheelbase and a 2+2+3 seating layout. Both first and second rows come standard with 16-point massage seats, supporting electric rotation and voice control via XiaoAI Assistant. The rear cabin features a 21.4-inch entertainment screen with 3K resolution. The center console includes two dedicated phone slots, four cup holders, a 6.6L storage compartment, and a 9L refrigerator with an independent compressor. It offers a CLTC pure-electric range of 464 km, a CLTC combined range of 1,705 km, and a WLTC fuel consumption of 6.26 L/100 km under low-battery conditions. The N90 Max Explorer Edition is equipped with a native electric pop-up roof system. When raised, the upper level provides a usable area of 2,110 mm × 985 mm, supports a maximum load of 200 kg, and raises the overall vehicle height to 2,294 mm.
