Waymo Adds Las Vegas to Autonomous Ride-Hailing Service

On September 15, Waymo announced it would add Las Vegas, USA, to its autonomous ride-hailing service coverage. Previously, Waymo had announced its entry into Nashville, Tennessee, and its current service areas include Denver, San Diego, and Nashville. Waymo stated that its autonomous ride-hailing service in Las Vegas will use the Waymo Ojai vehicle, manufactured by Zeekr, which accommodates four passengers and can take users to destinations such as casinos, the Sphere venue, and Allegiant Stadium. Waymo has not yet disclosed the specific operational zones or road restrictions for its Las Vegas service.
