Audi A2 e-tron opens for configuration in Germany from €38,200

On September 2, the Audi A2 e-tron made its debut, followed by the start of production and the opening of configurations in Germany. The base price is €38,200 (approximately RMB 297,000 at current exchange rates), making it the most affordable electric vehicle in Audi's lineup. The base model features standard white paint, 18-inch wheels, and LED headlights without matrix functionality. The interior comes in an all-black color scheme with fabric seats and manually adjustable front seats. Standard equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, navigation, power-folding and heated side mirrors, and wireless smartphone charging. In terms of performance, the base version uses a rear-mounted single motor producing a maximum output of 170 hp and peak torque of 350 N·m, achieving 0–100 km/h in 8.8 seconds with a top speed of 160 km/h. It is equipped with a 50 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering a WLTP range of 421 km. With DC fast charging at up to 100 kW, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes; under ideal conditions, a 10-minute charge adds 115 km of WLTP range. The base model has a curb weight of 1,840 kg, making it the lightest variant in the series. The entry-level A2 e-tron costs over €4,000 more than the Volkswagen ID.3 Neo, which shares the same platform. Models upgraded to 140 kW start at €41,900 (approximately RMB 325,000), those with 170 kW start at €48,900 (approximately RMB 380,000), and the 240 kW version starts at €51,200 (approximately RMB 398,000). Different trims are differentiated by tech packages labeled “Tech,” “Tech plus,” and “Tech pro.” Buyers can opt for S line exterior styling, a winter climate package, and may also choose their preferred interior materials and steering wheel designs.
