Apple Wallet Code Reveals Lincoln, Freelander, and Lucid Models Set to Support Car Key

On September 15, according to MacRumors, backend code changes in Apple's Wallet app indicate that Lincoln, Freelander, and Lucid Motors vehicles will soon support the Car Key digital key feature. Specific models and launch timing remain unclear. Apple Wallet’s digital car key allows users to unlock, lock, remotely start their vehicle, or pre-condition the cabin temperature using an iPhone or Apple Watch. Currently, Apple’s Car Key feature is compatible with vehicles from Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Buick, BYD, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lynk & Co, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Nissan, Porsche, Toyota, Volkswagen, Zeekr, and others.
