Honor and Yinwang Partner to Debut “Tap-to-Connect” Feature on Qijing GX7

On the evening of September 15, at the Honor HGDC 2026 Developer Conference, Wang Qian, Product Director of MagicOS AI OS, announced that Honor has entered into a deep collaboration with Yinwang to enable seamless transfer of mobile apps to vehicles with a simple tap. According to the official introduction page, this feature will debut on the Qijing GX7 model, with support for other models rolling out later. Yinwang, officially named "Yinwang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.," was formally established on January 16, 2024. Initially wholly owned by Huawei, it is a Huawei subsidiary providing intelligent automotive systems and component solutions. Earlier on September 15, blogger @Wangzai_Baishitong revealed a demo showcasing that Huawei's dual-framework HarmonyOS cockpit system will support Honor smartphones. The footage showed that the new "Super Desktop" feature of Huawei’s dual-framework HarmonyOS cockpit supports connections with both Honor and Huawei phones. In the demo, an Honor Magic8 Pro was already connected, enabling mobile apps to seamlessly flow to the vehicle’s infotainment system for use.
