Lotus Announces Third Scura Model to Debut on September 22

On the evening of September 16, 2026, Lotus China’s official Weibo account announced that the “third member” of the Lotus Scura family will make its official debut on September 22. The teaser image released by the brand shows the rear profiles of three models: the Exige Scura and Emira sports cars flank either side, while the central vehicle adopts a coupe-SUV stance, featuring a full-width horizontal taillight strip and a rear silhouette resembling that of the already launched Eletre or For Me models. “Scura,” meaning “darkness” or “shadow” in Italian, serves as the designation for Lotus’ high-performance limited-edition models. In July 2026, Lotus unveiled the new Emira Scura limited-edition model, with an official starting price of RMB 988,000 and limited to nine units in China. In the same month, the first unit of the Lotus For Me Black Gold limited-edition super hybrid SUV rolled off the production line; priced from RMB 638,000, all 78 limited units were sold out. On August 31, 2026, Lotus launched the ELETRE 900 GOLD and EMEYA 900 GOLD models, with starting prices of RMB 928,000 and RMB 918,000 respectively.
