Aito S9 and S9T Surpass 60,000 Units in Cumulative Deliveries

September 16, 2026 marks the first anniversary of the launch of the Hongqi S9T station wagon. On that day, Peng Lei, Product Director of Huawei Smart Selection Vehicles (Hongqi series), posted that the Hongqi S9T received over 10,000 firm orders within 72 hours of its launch. Combined deliveries of the Hongqi S9 and S9T have exceeded 60,000 units, securing the top spot among new energy sedans priced above RMB 300,000 for nine consecutive months. Industry research shows that station wagons are the most anticipated body style among users, with a preference rate of 33.9%. In June 2026, two Hongqi sedans under Harmony Intelligent Mobility—the Hongqi S9 and S9T—appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) 408th batch of the "Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products" for new product disclosure. The vehicles' rear badges were changed from BAIC New Energy to BAIC Group.
