First Geely Galaxy Starship 7 Rolls Off Line in Brazil as Geely-Renault JV Plant Officially Launches

Recently, Geely Auto Group and Renault Group jointly announced that the first Brazil-localized Geely EX5 EM-i (Geely Galaxy Starship 7) has officially rolled off the production line at the Ayrton Senna Industrial Park. The first batch of locally produced vehicles is expected to begin deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2026. The all-electric Geely EX2 (Geely Xingyuan), also built on the GEA intelligent new energy architecture, will enter production in December 2026. As the manufacturing base for Renault-Geely Brazil, the Ayrton Senna Industrial Park completed its technical transformation and production line upgrades in early 2026, enabling it to produce vehicles across multiple powertrain types, including battery electric, plug-in hybrid, and flexible-fuel models. The strategic partnership between Geely and Renault in Brazil was officially launched in November 2025, with both parties establishing a joint venture to localize new energy technology platforms and vehicle models in Brazil.
