Seres Denies Rumors of Aito Exiting Huawei Stores in 2027, Says Some Outlets Will Keep Selling

Recently, rumors have circulated that Aito brand vehicles will officially withdraw from Harmony Intelligent Mobility and Huawei stores starting January 1, 2027. Dealers will independently choose to represent Huawei, Harmony Intelligent Mobility (the other four "Jie" brands), or the Aito brand. Aito will retain its existing delivery centers to support vehicle after-sales services and deliveries. If a dealer chooses to exclusively operate under Harmony Intelligent Mobility, it will maintain a direct-operated store model. On September 17, Seres denied the above information, stating that “some stores will be retained,” meaning certain Harmony Intelligent Mobility and Huawei stores will continue selling Aito vehicles. On September 15, 2026, Harmony Intelligent Mobility released a statement regarding the Aito cooperation model, announcing that effective immediately, Aito will explore a new cooperation model under the Harmony Intelligent Mobility framework: product definition, product design, brand marketing, channel retail, and service systems will be led by Seres, with Huawei Device Business Group participating in enabling support. All existing rights and subsequent services for Aito users will remain unaffected.
