NIO Adds 8 New Battery Swap and Charging Stations on September 17, Bringing National Total to 9,372

On September 17, 2026, NIO added eight new battery swap and charging stations. With the launch of these stations, NIO’s total number of battery swap and charging stations nationwide reached 9,372. The newly added eight stations include one battery swap station and seven charging stations (including ultra-fast charging stations). Among them, the 4,090th battery swap station was deployed at Huizhou Huiyang High-speed Railway Station in Guangdong Province. The other charging and ultra-fast charging stations are located at Longtan Huaguan Road in Chenghua District, Chengdu, Sichuan; Haitang Plaza in Rongchang, Chongqing; Shanhu Avenue in Shuangfu, Chongqing; Gucheng First Street in Dabu, Guangdong; and Phase II of Qianhai Huaqiang Financial Building in Nanshan, Shenzhen. Along the G318 Sichuan-Tibet route, NIO added two new ultra-fast charging stations—at Duola Mountain Hot Spring Hotel in Baxoi County, Tibet, and at Mount Everest Base Camp in Tingri County, Tibet. As of September 17, NIO had built a total of 4,090 battery swap stations, 5,282 charging stations, and 30,431 charging piles nationwide, having cumulatively provided over 120 million battery swap services.
