New AMG GLC 53 Coupe Spy Shots Leaked

Recently, a set of spy photos of the new AMG GLC 53 Coupe has been revealed. The vehicle is expected to be officially launched in 2028. According to the spy shots, the new model retains a silhouette similar to the current version, with a revised front grille design and headlight and taillight clusters incorporating the three-pointed star emblem. Inside, the cabin continues to feature split digital instrument displays and a centrally mounted, tilted touchscreen infotainment system. The next-generation GLC is not expected to adopt the new digital cockpit from the all-electric GLC until around 2029. In terms of powertrain, the new model is expected to carry over the current 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine. The existing AMG GLC 53’s engine delivers a maximum output of 330 kW and peak torque of 600 N·m, which can temporarily increase to 640 N·m in overboost mode for up to 10 seconds. It is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 270 km/h.
