Li Auto i9 Home Deliveries to Begin This Saturday, with Delivery Lead Time Adjusted to 8–10 Weeks

On September 18, Li Xinyang, Head of Product Line at Li Auto, reported on the delivery progress of the Li Auto i9 Home. Based on the latest order and supply situation, the estimated delivery lead time for this model has been adjusted from 4–7 weeks to 8–10 weeks, with vehicle deliveries officially commencing this Saturday. Regarding battery supply, the initial batch of Li Auto i9 vehicles is equipped with CATL’s 5C ternary lithium batteries. Starting immediately, all newly placed orders for the i9 Home will be fully equipped with Li Auto’s self-developed 5C ternary lithium batteries. Once Li Auto’s self-developed batteries complete their production ramp-up, the i9 Home will transition entirely to using these in-house developed 5C ternary lithium batteries. Li Auto initiated in-house cell development in 2020. Its self-developed battery technology encompasses a complete battery system, including 5C cells, Pack, and BMS. Currently, Li Auto’s self-developed batteries are already deployed in models such as the Li L8, Li L6, and Li i8, and will subsequently be rolled out across all Li Auto models.
