On October 29, the opening ceremony of GAC Yinpai's Thailand factory and the rollout of its first power battery was held in Chonburi Province, Thailand. The factory is GAC Group's first overseas self-operated battery PACK plant. Yinpai Battery is the core entity for GAC Group's battery industrialization, with a total investment of 10.9 billion yuan. It has achieved full-stack in-house research and production of power and energy storage batteries, and has delivered more than 300,000 power battery packs to date. Thailand is advancing its "30@30" target and EV3.5 policy, with zero-emission vehicles expected to account for 30% by 2030, corresponding to a scale of more than 700,000 electric passenger vehicles.
