Kia Global Sales Reach 291,219 Units in October 2026, Up 10.3% Year-on-Year

On November 2, 2026, Kia Motors of South Korea released an announcement disclosing its October 2026 sales data. Based on wholesale sales statistics, Kia sold a total of 291,219 vehicles in the global market in October 2026, up 10.3% year on year. Of this total, 51,007 units were sold in the South Korean domestic market, up 27.5% year on year; sales in other markets reached 239,308 units, up 7.2% year on year; and special-purpose unit sales stood at 904 units. Previously, Kia Motors released preliminary financial results for the first three quarters of fiscal year 2026 (January 2026 to December 2026) (January 2026 to September 2026) and for the third fiscal quarter (July 2026 to September 2026). In the first three quarters of fiscal year 2026, Kia's total operating revenue was 94.14 trillion won (approximately RMB 469.364 billion at the current exchange rate), up 9.4% year on year; net profit attributable to the parent company was 5.45 trillion won (approximately RMB 27.153 billion at the current exchange rate), down 10.5% year on year. In the third fiscal quarter of fiscal year 2026, Kia's total operating revenue was 31.6 trillion won (approximately RMB 157.545 billion at the current exchange rate), up 10.1% year on year and down 4.4% quarter on quarter; net profit attributable to the parent company was 1.29 trillion won (approximately RMB 6.416 billion at the current exchange rate), down 9.7% year on year and down 44.7% quarter on quarter.
