Huawei Smart Selection Vehicle Product Director Peng Lei Says S9 Deliveries to Rise in November, S9 V8 Plans Small Inventory of Ready-to-Deliver Vehicles

On November 3, Peng Lei, Product Director of Huawei Smart Selection Vehicles (Xiangjie series), posted an update on the delivery progress of the HarmonyOS Intelligent Mobility Xiangjie G9 and the follow-up plans for the Xiangjie V8. Peng Lei stated that the Xiangjie G9 is currently in the production ramp-up phase, with delivery activities already launched nationwide, and November deliveries will reach a new level. The Xiangjie V8 has begun pre-sales, with display and test-drive vehicles being delivered progressively, and it is available for experience at HarmonyOS Intelligent Mobility stores nationwide. The Xiangjie V8 also plans to prepare a small number of stock vehicles, allowing users to take delivery the day after the launch event. According to previously published data, BAIC New Energy's Xiangjie brand sold 6,174 vehicles in October. Nearly 70% of these were Xiangjie G9 models, totaling between 4,000 and 4,300 units, with first-month production in the ramp-up phase. Combined sales of the Xiangjie S9 and Xiangjie S9T exceeded 2,000 units. The Xiangjie V8 is positioned as a flagship family MPV, expected to launch in November, with an official pre-sale price starting at 329,800 yuan. The vehicle offers both battery-electric and extended-range powertrain options, features a seven-seat layout, and is available in four versions: Ultra+, Ultra, Max+, and Max. All versions come standard with an 800V high-voltage platform, ±12° rear-wheel steering, and the Huawei Qiankun intelligent driving system.
