III. FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. (Recall No. S2026M0140V): Starting from January 15, 2027, recalling certain domestically produced Talagon vehicles manufactured between December 14, 2020 and July 8, 2022, totaling 29,264 units. For vehicles within the scope of this recall, after prolonged exposure to moisture and road de-icing salt, the right-side fixing bolt connecting the subframe to the steering gear may corrode. As corrosion worsens, the fixing bolt may fracture, causing the right-side connection of the steering gear to fail and resulting in limited steering function. Volkswagen Group China Sales Co., Ltd., SAIC Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd., and FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. will commission authorized dealerships to replace the right-side steering gear fixing bolt with an improved version free of charge for vehicles within the recall scope. Emergency handling measures: If abnormal metallic knocking sounds occur in the front axle area or abnormalities appear in the steering system, drivers should immediately stop the vehicle safely and contact the nearest authorized dealership for vehicle inspection and handling.
