The results showed that despite occasional charging instability and aging of door seals in the used cars, their overall driving experience remained close to that of a new vehicle. Notably, one used Model 3 with 176,000 kilometers on the odometer achieved a real-world range efficiency of over 80%, only slightly lower than the new model’s 88%. Engineers noted that the Model 3’s frameless door design tends to cause seal wear after frequent use, affecting sound insulation and weather sealing—though this issue has minimal impact in northern China’s cold climate. This test provides practical insights for consumers considering purchasing a used Tesla.
