Beijing Benz Recalls 19,481 EQA/EQB Vehicles Over High-Voltage Battery Risk

Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. has announced a recall of certain domestically produced EQA and EQB models. The recall affects 19,481 vehicles manufactured between April 1, 2021, and March 12, 2024, and will take effect on June 25, 2026. This recall follows a defect investigation initiated by the State Administration for Market Regulation and has been filed in accordance with relevant regulations. To address the safety risk, Beijing Benz will arrange, through its authorized dealers, free replacement of the high-voltage battery for all affected vehicles.
