On March 5, BYD unveiled its second-generation Blade Battery and a new ultra-fast charging technology, offering further improvements in energy density and safety. The upgraded battery will be featured across multiple vehicle models. The all-new T3 and T7 EV Flash Charge editions were also launched simultaneously. The T3 Flash Charge variant is equipped with a 75.616 kWh battery, delivering a maximum CLTC range of 620 km for the rear-wheel-drive version and 565 km for the all-wheel-drive version. With a peak fast-charging power of 215 kW, it can charge from 30% to 80% in just 18 minutes. Both new models come standard with a Devialet 14-speaker audio system, an onboard refrigerator, DiPilot 100 Level 2 advanced driver-assistance system, 540-degree panoramic imaging, and a transparent chassis view. The T7 EV is available in either a single-motor (300 kW) or dual-motor (515 kW) configuration, with a top speed of 240 km/h and a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. It features a standard panoramic glass roof, with optional LiDAR and a tow hitch. Both vehicles retain the current design language while adding red brake calipers and multiple new exterior color options, emphasizing an intelligent and comfortable driving experience.
